JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

As a Junior Account Manager, you are focussed on supporting the wider Account Management team, helping from an operational perspective to deliver the best creative solutions across a designated portfolio of clients in the most efficient and profitable way for the Studio. You must be creatively minded and understand how to carefully balance the flexibility required of a business with creativity at its core, alongside the rigour and strong organisational skills which some of our clients expect.
RESPONSIBILITIES
— Understand all project requirements you are working towards, in particular understanding why Made Thought has chosen to work on them.
— Provide exemplary project administration overall, working closely with and supporting the wider AM team with the operational day to day of their assigned projects. This could include anything from monitoring finances, e.g., Income forecasting, billing and outside costs; to briefing the creative team.
— Have complete knowledge of the project status, including deadlines, resource, deliverables etc. for all projects you are supporting.
— Be required to run small scale projects autonomously and lead on certain workstreams of larger projects.
— Build strong and trusting relationships with clients and suppliers alike, escalating any potential overruns and/or issues to the Senior Account Managers where relevant.
— Attend client meetings where required, taking accurate notes for internal actions and next steps for clients. You will proactively lead on the completion of said actions with the team.
— Build a strong relationship with your creative team, ensuring they are aware of deadlines and the overall project plan throughout the duration of projects.
— Be accountable for accurately estimating the predicted time spent on the small-scale projects you are running autonomously, working with a Senior Account Manager to refine the resulting proposal.
— Manage diaries, arranging and setting up client meetings ensuring all details are correct in the meeting invite.
— Support delivery and file management internally and when delivering to clients.
— Be prepared to stand in for Account Management team members on occasion, with the ability to quickly understand the current project status.
— Work closely with the Resource Manager to ensure all information in the Resource Planner is accurate, making suggestions where relevant.
— Contribute ways to improve processes and working practices within the team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
— Circa 1 years’ experience working within a similar environment.
— Be highly collaborative, able to connect and work well with others.
— Have an exceptional attention to detail.
— Have a highly organised approach to your work.
— Have the ability to balance reactive and proactive workloads identifying problems and escalating problems internally.
— Be able to utilise experience of effective time management.
— Exceptional standard of written and oral communication.
