We will need you to
— Support on all activity related to the development of new client relationships and partnerships.

— Ownership of capturing and liaising on all inbound opportunity and enquiries.

— Ownership of company database management and hygiene for outbound efforts.

— Ownership of administrative and calendar management for new business conversations.

— Support Made Thought New York studio on project and growth needs.

— Act as key liaison between the Client Services team and the Development team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Work alongside the Development Director and team in supporting outbound initiatives and the development of strategies and relationship mapping.

— Successfully manage and maintain a consistent and considered oversight of the New Business tools for the rest of the team to use, including driving the use of the New Business pipeline to outline the company’s new growth strategy.

— Be responsible for tracking and recording responses to inbound enquiries, liaising with potential clients throughout initial contact and create relevant credential documents and materials for clients, ensuring the Made Thought tone of voice and communication levels are upheld.

— Create quoting templates and costing packages using the preferred software to support the Client Services team.

— Prepare influential credential documents tailored to specific clients’ needs and using relevant case studies.

— Manage diaries, arranging and setting up client meetings ensuring all details are correct in the meeting invite.

— Understand potential client opportunities you are working towards, in particular understanding why Made Thought has chosen to work on them.

— Provide exemplary administration overall, working closely with and supporting the wider New Biz & AM team with the operational day to day of their assigned clients. This could include anything from monitoring finances, creating SOWs, managing pitch spend etc.

— Leading project set up, creating slack channels, folders on the server etc to allow clients to transition from New Business to Client Services smoothly.

— Attend client meetings where required, taking accurate notes for internal actions and next steps for clients. You will proactively lead on the completion of said actions with the team.

— Be accountable for accurately estimating the predicted time spent on the small-scale projects working with a Development Manager/ AM team to refine the resulting proposal.

— Work closely with the Resource Manager to ensure all information in the Resource Planner is accurate, making suggestions where relevant.

— Ensuring systems are up to date with correct figures and timings e.g. for potential work and pitch budgets.

— Contribute ways to improve processes and working practices within the team.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

— New Business/Account Management background, with experience within a creative studio or advertising agency environment.

— Excellent writing skills, able to adapt to Made Thought tone of voice.

— Accuracy and quality shown in all work presented.

— Confident, enthusiastic and personable style.

— Communication skills will be key, adapting to varying client personalities and internal teams.

— Commercially orientated and confident in selling.

— Excellent organisational skills and adept in multi-tasking.

— Confidence in using budgeting/estimating software – training in Paprika will be provided, previous experience is a bonus but not essential.

— Experienced in using Keynote (and InDesign if possible) to create credentials documents.

— Competency in using Microsoft Suite is a must.

— Must have an interest in design, arts, architecture or fashion.
